Over the last few months our Media, Sport and Entertainment sector team has been looking into the trends in the sector around the world.
The report, based on an international survey of 246 respondent and in depth interviews with c-suite media company executives, looks at the key trends in media in the year ahead from around the world, including some in-depth insight from key jurisdictions on how global trends will impact their local environment, and the trends they're seeing appear at a local and regional level.
- 82 percent of senior media executives cite over the top (OTT) content as a major growth area for their business
- 25 percent of businesses surveyed expect the majority of their views to be driven by OTT in 2018 as against 11 percent in 2017
